:faint: Phew!

Hope you enjoy it, hun! You wanted a surprise.

My half of an art trade with the talented :icontaesospiritdragon: =TaesoSpiritDragon

Took me long enough too. Anywho! This would be her big character that I found in her gallery. I started off using an old reference of the character. Soon enough, the image was cleaned away and thus I had to start using a newer ref of her character. So! It's a collaboration of both, if you will.
I wanted to try some new things with texture and photoshop and am pleased with how things turned out.

Original Sketch - Mechanical Pencil & Micron Ink

Wow, that's very interesting to combine the two refs, I think I know which one you used as a beginning, (Which wasn't really a ref at all, lol) and that you gave her a forked tongue and martin ears, lolz

wow, brilliant job on the feathers!

:floating: Aw, thank you. I have to admit I've never really colored a dragon digitally before now. If I have, it wasn't good enough for me to remember. =p

Always have to stray from the originals I must admit. ^^' The tongue didn't start out forked, but to me it didn't look natural when I did otherwise sketching it out. Guess I'll need to work on aesthetically pleasing smooth tongues, eh?
Personally, your opinion of her is mostly the only one that matters.

She's done very well and I am pleased with that alone, just found it curious about the changes to her.

Aww, I apologize for that. The image I had used as an original reference was your 'Story Appearance' image of her. I liked the design for that one. Then I checked out your more recent legit ref of her and tried to even things out.

That's ok, I like the combination of both
