Finally, the next pencil drawing everybody has been waiting for is posted!
This averaged about the same amount of time as my other pieces from the Voodoo series. Through much advice and thought I have decided not to include this in the Voodoo series.
By the by... a Myobu is a kitsune of Japanese folklore that fall under the respects of Inari, the goddess of good crops.
Looks really good but... and maybe it's just my screen since it's barely an issue... the focus character blends into the background a great deal. Part of me wants to see a bit more contrast to see the character pop out more at the viewer.
All in all, however, the image is gorgeous. Excellent work.
this I would say I like personally, it shows the degree of history and knowledge that went with this piece along with the detail it creates an absolutely superb pictures
absolutely, positively beautiful I dont know how on earth you mange such clean lines and strokes. Every time I do pencil drawings, it smudges and just blends together T_T

*holds in jaw tightly to face* You're crazy with all the detail you put into everything. o.0 I think if I ever had to do that kind of detail, that'd I'd go crazy and then ship it off to you to finish. XD XDD

*Nods* It's really hard for my scanner to put my penciled works in good light, excuse the pun. I have to tamper around with it in photoshop and still, things don't always go according to plan. Either way... Thanks!

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
